We are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team.
The selected candidate will…
- Ensure all projects are completed to a high technical standard providing full Stage 3-5 technical design, on time and on budget.
- Carry out fee earning work for both internal and external clients, getting involved in the design of projects where a high-level technical expertise is required.
- Meet with clients to establish project brief and budget costs for client consideration.
- Attend sites to ensure installations meet the design and assist with the commissioning and handover of projects.
- Assist our estimating team with providing cost effective design solutions.
- Mentor junior members of the Design team in their learning journey.
Essential skills, experience, and attributes…
- Degree in Engineering preferable
- Member of the Chartered institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The IET (or equivalents) – Preferable.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Amtech (Electrical) design software.
- Use of AutoCAD and advantage
- Familiar with relevant legislation, codes of practice, CIBSE guides, building regulations and best practice.
