The Colne Valley Group are looking to appoint a new Electrical Design Engineer to join the existing team based at our Colchester office.
The candidate will need to demonstrate a good understanding of electrical systems and the design principles, deliver an integrated design in accordance with the relevant regulations and the design programme whilst ensuring clients’ requirements are met.
You will be representing the company at design meetings on site and in the office (full driving licence required), be aware of new methods and technologies and take a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years design experience within the building services industry and ideally will come from a consultancy background. Candidates should be qualified to HNC standard as a minimum. You should be able to take the design process for the electrical scheme from Stage 2 design through to Stage 5 drawings and liaise with the team during the works. The ability to use Autocad is beneficial.
