What we do

Design

Our design team ensure industry policy, procedures and regulations are maintained on installations.

– Developing mechanical and electrical designs
– Working on RIBA stages 1-5 for a range of dwellings, landlords and common areas
– From client proposal to a coordinated technical design to construction

Installation

With our dedicated and committed team of highly skilled and experienced engineers we are able to deliver exceptional standards across all our projects. All site personnel are trained to the highest level and hold Construction Skills Certificate Scheme cards. All gas installations are undertaken by our Gas Safe registered engineers and all electrical tests by our dedicated and professional team of test engineers.

At the end of each work stage / day the operative will log onto our cloud based project management systems and submit a work stage completion sheet through their smart phones.

If any damage has been caused for whatever reason then the operative can also record this by submitting a damage report sheet in the same way.

The work stage completion and damage report sheets allow the Project Directors and Contract Managers to keep the clients site team up to date with works we are carrying out and also if there are issues that may affect follow on trades.

After a job is complete and practical completion has been achieved, our dedicated customer care department will ensure that any defects within the liability period are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Our customer care team will collate all jobs that come in and will contact the customer within 24 hours to offer them a mutually convenient appointment.
All customer care jobs are attended to by a dedicated customer service engineer who will be in uniform and carry identification.

Maintenance and Customer Care

Colne Valley Group provides both planned and preventative maintenance from our network of operatives. We can attend to the day to day work required to correct component failures to ensure that, as far as possible buildings can continue to operate safely and efficiently with minimal disruption, despite any unpredicted faults or breakdowns.

We can advise on the maintenance requirements under statutory regulation and legal obligation, providing costs to suit all budgets. Our planned maintenance regimes can prevent breakdowns in the first instance and help maintain manufactures warranties.

Whether planned, reactive major or minor in value, we provide a degree of urgency in its implementation and appreciate providing honest value and loyalty to our clients.

Our Commitment

We understand that in today’s construction world quality, efficiency, and time management are crucial.

We therefore aim to make sure that our teams adhere to the site program and work with other subcontract trades and the site teams, not against them.

The client’s success is our success and together we can build on this relationship in the future.
