Colne Valley Electrical specialises in the electrical installation of new home developments and refurbishments.
Our scope of works ranges from small individual housing projects, to large high rise multiple occupancy developments with communal areas and commercial facilities.
Our services are not restricted to just include the installation of the electrical and associated systems, but we also offer the ability to value engineer a design to make sure that it fits within the client’s budgets and expectations.
Since 1991 Colne Valley Electrical has strived to offer an effective and efficient installation based around the clients requirements.
Our estimating team will either work from an existing design package from the client, or work closely with the client’s technical team and consultants to provide a complete tender return for the scope of works we are asked to cover.
This may be for the client to produce a tender return for a project they are planning to embark on, or for a secured contract that they are looking to commence on in the future.
Our estimators will highlight problems within a design that may lead to cost issues or practical problems during the build stage, and then seek to work / engineer these out so that the problem becomes a workable option.
Once a contract is secured the estimators will pass the job to the Projects Directors and Contracts Managers who will then oversee the contract from the beginning through to completion.
All operatives deployed to sites are responsible for making sure that each stage of work they carry out is completed to the highest standard.
At the end of each work stage / day the operative will log onto our cloud based project management systems and submit a work stage completion sheet through their smart phones.
If any damage has been caused for whatever reason then the operative can also record this by submitting a damage report sheet in the same way.
The work stage completion and damage report sheets allow the Project Directors and Contract Managers to keep the clients site team up to date with works we are carrying out and also if there are issues that may affect follow on trades.
After a job is complete and practical completion has been achieved, our dedicated customer care department will ensure that any defects within the liability period are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Our customer care manager will collate all jobs that come in and will contact the customer within 24 hours to offer them a mutually convenient appointment.
All customer care jobs are attended to by a dedicated customer service engineer who will be in uniform and carry identification.
We understand that in today’s construction world quality, efficiency, and time management are crucial.
We therefore aim to make sure that our teams adhere to the site program and work with other subcontract trades and the site teams, not against them.
The client’s success is our success and together we can build on this relationship in the future.
